The 2010 St. Helena III Canal Boat Operations
The St. Helena III Canal Boat and Horses are owned by the Canal Fulton Heritage Society and operated by The City of Canal Fulton. The boat is pulled by two Percheron Horses and departs from the Port of Canal Fulton in St. Helena Heritage Park for a one hour ride down the Ohio & Erie Canal. A historian on board provides information on the history of the canal, the boat and the area.
Public Rides
The St. Helena III Canal Boat Public Rides begin May 8th and continue on the weekends only during May. The summer season begins Saturday, June 5th with the Season Opening Pancake Breakfast by the Boat (see below for tickets). During the summer, public rides are offered every day except Mondays June 5th to August 22nd. The autumn public rides will run weekends only from August 28th to October 10th. All Public Rides are at 1 pm and 2:30 pm.
